Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this Trimax Yellow Disc U-Lock. This U-lock is going to help safeguard your bike or your motorcycle against theft. It's perfect for motorcycle discs and looped cables. It features a 12.7 millimeter thick shackle.
And looking at how tall that shackle is, it's right at 2" tall. And looking at the inside width, we're sitting right at about 1 11/16" inches wide. And the lock itself is 4" long. And the diameter of the lock, we're sitting right at about 1". The chrome-plated hardened steel construction is corrosion-resistant and it helps resist cutting and prying.
The rubberized coating protects your bike from dings and it enhances its grip. And this yellow color is obviously very bright and it's gonna be easily visible. Now, if you notice here, it does include three secure keys. And one of the keys has a little LED light on it that you push the button down and you're gonna be able to look at that, find that lock right there in low light or dark conditions. So that's a nice feature of this one particular key.
So I could see this being the main key that you carry. And then the other two keys are gonna be your spare or your backup keys. And this is gonna work very easily. It turns very easily and it's a smooth operation. So you're not gonna be struggling getting this unlocked.
Everything works very smoothly and very easily and very quickly. And then just turn back key again and you're gonna be locked and secure. And this does have a limited lifetime warranty. So it feels very rugged, very heavy duty. And if you're looking for a lock like this and this meets the specifications you're looking for, I think you're gonna be very pleased with it.
